Watch NBC Action News Sunday morning!

"My Daily Fortune" is making its local television debut tomorrow, on the NBC Action News morning show. I'll be a guest at about 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, on Channel 41 in Kansas City. If you live outside the Kansas City area, you may be able to download the segment in their website - but I'm not sure yet.

I'm really excited to do this, and a bit nervous, but hopefully it'll draw more readers and more attention to the project.

On another note, I purchased the first lottery ticket today based on the lucky numbers 9-27-30-32-36-43, and somehow between the gas station and our house I managed to lose it. Jamie and I have torn the house and her car apart looking for it, but to no avail. As we speak, my wonderful wife is driving to the gas station to purchase a new one. A picture will follow shortly.

Also, I learned something about the Kansas Lottery today. Although the regular numbers for the PowerBall game go up to 59, the actual PowerBall number itself only goes as high as 39. My original plan was to make the very last number in the sequence the PowerBall, but, as displayed today, that won't always work. I think I'll just pick the PowerBall at random from the sequence.
