Bacon makes a strong late push, but chocolate wins out

The overwhelming majority of My Daily Fortune readers would prefer chocolate-flavored fortune cookies to other alternatives, according to our June poll.

Fifty-nine percent of readers voted for "Chocolate" after reading the question, "If you could have a fortune cookie in any flavor, what would it be?" In a distant second was "Strawberry," which garnered 15 percent of the vote.

In a surprise late move, the dark-horse choice, "Bacon," took a shot at the leader board. For several days, bacon had only received one vote (and, okay, I admit that vote was mine). But over the last week of the month, bacon shot up the ranks to receive 13 percent of the overall vote, placing it in a third-place tie with "Coffee."
