Today's fortune: You will sleep well at night.
Happy 11/11/11, everybody!
Boy, that's something to keep you up at night, the mind-numbing eleven-ness of today. I certainly know my mother and countless others lost some sleep over this date, thinking terrorists may use the date - and the fact that it's Veteran's Day - to plan an attack. As of the writing of this post, that hasn't happened.
I suffer from sleeplessness sometimes. I toss and turn, probably no more than most folks, but better sleep at night would certainly be a fortune I'd happily accept.
Of course, I can do some things to help this fortune out a bit. I'm not talking about prescription remedies, although those are viable solutions for some people. But I could exercise more, which would not only tire me out for a night of sleep but would also have the benefit of being good for me. And I should stop drinking caffeine after 7 p.m. or so. I'll try those things and see what happens.
In the meantime, here's a lullaby to help you fall asleep, something both kids and adults can appreciate.
