Poll results: David defeats Goliath

In a battle of large vs. small, small won - handily.

The March poll asked readers, "What's your favorite Chinese food?" The answer "The dingy little takeout place around the corner" received nearly half of the votes in the five-answer poll and a whopping 48 percent share.

A distant second was "the mega-buffet next to the mall" with 24 percent of the vote, followed by "the fancy sit-down restaurant with tablecloths and expensive, unusual entrees" with 16 percent. Eight percent answered "I hate Chinese food," while one lonely soul claimed "Homemade Chinese food is always the best!"

The April poll will take a literary turn: Which famous author would you like to see write fortune cookies?
